Hi Everyone. I know its been awhile since I last posted. I've been a busy girl. Playing with new friends, going shopping, visiting with my family, and of course napping. I promise I'll come back soon and write a good blog. But, here is a new video Mummy took of me the other night in the tubby. I like splashing!

Doctors, Car Seats, Witches... Oh My

Hi Everyone! Just a little update on how my doctor's appointment was yesterday. He said I'm a very healthy girl! Here are my stats for 9 months:

• 22.6lbs - 94th %tile
• 30" long - 98th %tile
• 44cm head circ - 63rd %tile

I had to get my last Hepatitis B shot and a flu shot. I have to go back in 4 weeks to get a 2nd flu shot. I don't like shots. I cried. Even if I have big thighs, it still hurts. I have to go back for another check up in 3 months. That would make me 1 YEAR OLD! 

After my doctor appointment, we went to Babies R Us and got me my big girl car seat. I've grown out of my infant carrier, so we traded it in and got a bigger seat! I'll have to take a picture of me in it for you! Its so much bigger than my old one. Its also pink and brown.. my favorite colors! :)

Mummy and Daddy also helped me pick out my Halloween costume. I'll just say that I'm going to be a witch and a very cute one! You'll have to wait until Halloween to get a picture of me in it. 

Cousin Trisha is coming over today to trim my hair. Its getting long around my ears and my bangs will be in my eyes soon. So she's gonna make me pretty. (Like I need any help) I'll have Daddy take some pictures for you. 

Nine Months Old

I'm 9 months old today! I can't believe I've been around for that long! I didnt do much for my birthday except for hang out at home with mummy and daddy. Friday I have to go to the doctor for my check up. Oh boy, I dont like going to the doctor. But, I'm going to be a big girl about it. 

This past weekend, my Gramma Kim and Stan came to visit me from North Carolina. I havent seen them since May! I bet they thought I've grown a lot since then. They were only here for a couple of days, but I had fun seeing them. I even got to see cousin April and Tim and Uncle Rick too! I was a little sad when my Gramma left. I hope I get to see her soon. 

I've been learning to crawl faster lately and on Sunday, Mummy came to get me out of my crib and I was standing up! I pulled myself all the way up to stand. I'm really trying to stand at the TV stand, but its still tough. 

I've been eating more and more different kinds of foods. Here are some new foods I've had:

• Yo Baby yogurt
• cottage cheese
• mashed potatoes
• pasta with sauce
• waffles
• Cheerios
• tomatoes
• cheese ( I LOVE cheese)
• apple juice
• banana pieces
• mandarin oranges

Lots of yummy things! I still eat some baby food, but I'd rather eat more textured things. My favorite are Lil Crunchies! I gobble them up.
